2014 Opening Day Pushed Back Until May 23rd
Indiana Beach was scheduled to open on May 10th but has pushed that date to the 23rd. This was dissapointing to many of us but understandable due to the long and harsh winter. Shool days have been extended as well so the younger workforce employed for the summer was affected also.

Indiana Beach opens for its 88th season on May 10th, Mother's Day weekend. Indiana’s largest and most popular amusement and vacation resort has enjoyed longevity because it has strived to grow with the times but to never lose the essence of why it's so popular with midwestern families.
Four ‘funtastic’ rides for this season, the Baby Baron, Growler, Dragon Wagon and Rockin’ Tug. They are the first of several upgrades offering something fresh and fun for the families who visit year after year and others considering a family vacation to Indiana Beach.
Indiana Beach retires park’s first major steel coaster
“We also have to announce that after 42 years of thrilling guests from across the country, the Galaxi, our park’s first major steel coaster, is being retired.
